WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SESSION - I did gasp a little b

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SESSION - I did gasp a little bit when this beautiful family walked through my studio doors. This was a last minute session as bub surprised mum and dad by making an early entry into the world.

When mum initially enquired with me she did mention that he was older due to having to stay in hospital but I reassured her it wouldn’t be a problem at all for his newborn session. I’m so glad that she did reach out because whilst typically it’s best to have sessions in the first 2 weeks, life happens! Sometimes babies arrive early, sometimes mum isn’t up for leaving the house to have her photos taken. Whatever the reason, you are still able to get amazing photos outside of that 2 week window.

This gorgeous little guy slept for the entire newborn session, only waking at the end to get some awake photos. If your baby is older than 2 weeks it’s not too late.

How breathtaking is this mama to be?

One of my biggest regrets is not getting maternity photos done with my first 2. I found every excuse under the sun not to have a session, I didn’t feel great and was so self conscious. With my third I bit the bullet and I am so glad I did! I love having the photos to look back on ❤️

I remember when I was pregnant with my first child

I remember when I was pregnant with my first child, people would always tell me that nothing would prepare me for the love that I would feel when I met her. I never understood that comment because I had loved so many people in my life, how could this be different? Then I had my first daughter and I completely got it! It was a love so deep, something I was lucky to experience with each of my children when they were born. That love was only the beginning, it grew and deepened as each of my kids have gotten older ❤️
