Yesterday I snuck away to Canberra, and oh my heart, it was exactly what I needed. ✨

A little road trip, a change of scenery, and a chance to play with light in a whole new way. The beautiful @sophie.shaw.photos welcomed @rhiannaleaphotography into her beautiful studio space where we created some magic.

It felt so good to step outside my comfort zone and create something new. No rules, no expectations, just pure fun and inspiration. My creative cup feels full again. 🤍

I can’t stop thinking about how magical this style would be for maternity sessions. Soft light, a bit moodier, a little more artistic… something different, but so beautiful.

💤 Plenty of pauses: Newborns set the rhythm, so we take breaks whenever needed. Some of the sweetest moments happen in those quiet pauses.

👗 Curated wardrobe: You don’t need to stress about what to wear. I’ve got beautiful, flattering pieces for mums, soft outfits for baby, and a style guide that takes out all of the guess work.

📸 Connection over poses: Of course, I’ll guide you, but the magic is in the cuddles, the nose scrunches, the way you look at your baby. That’s what you’ll treasure most when you look back.

Today I want to give a special shoutout to the incredible men in my life! My husband, who not only makes the best dad to our kids but also the most loving partner, and my own dad, who has always been a steady source of love and strength for me.

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge all the parents who play both mum and dad, you are superheroes in every sense. And to those who are missing their dads or father figures today, my heart is with you ❤️

This day is always special to me, but this year it’s extra meaningful, it also marks 17 years of marriage with my husband. Seventeen years of love, laughter, challenges, and growth, and I honestly feel so incredibly blessed to be doing life together!
